Job Description
We are seeking a strategic and technically adept Product Owner to lead our Data Tracking team. This role is central to implementing the Tracking 360° strategy, ensuring accurate, compliant, and unified data collection across platforms. You will drive initiatives that enhance data governance, eliminate vendor lock-in, and enable deep insights into customer behavior, product performance, and campaign effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Ownership & Roadmap Development:
- Define and maintain the data tracking roadmap aligned with business priorities such as brand growth, churn prevention, and conversion optimization.
- Lead the migration to standardized tracking systems and UTM-based traffic source detection.
Data Governance & Compliance:
- Establish unified data contracts and naming conventions across platforms.
- Ensure tracking availability and GDPR compliance for all customers and order data.
Execution & Continuous Improvement:
- Oversee implementation of standardized E-Commerce events across web and app (e.g., page view, add to cart, purchase).
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Coordinate with different stakeholders and product teams the implementation of tracking standards.
- Close collaboration with Data Protection, Experimentation, Marketing Intelligence and Product Analytics team.
Vendor Independence:
- Validate and adapt data propagation mechanisms to ensure full control over tracking logic.
Data Democratization & Accessibility:
- Standardize funnel categorizations and E-Commerce events for unified analysis.
- Make tracking data accessible and meaningful for non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role within data tracking, analytics, or consent management.
- Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to align tracking initiatives with long-term business goals and compliance requirements.
- Technical Acumen: Familiarity with tools like Adobe Analytics, GA4, OneTrust, and tag managers.
- Analytical Skills: Strong data-driven mindset to monitor tracking performance and identify improvement opportunities.
- Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication skills to engage cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Agile Methodologies: Experience with Agile product management practices and tools.
